There is a lot more that goes into making employees happy than just giving them money. Of course people like money, but that is something that comes and goes very fast. There are a lot of people who get paid tons of money who are unhappy with their job because of the way they are treated or the company settings. Not sure how to tell if your employees are motivated or not? There are a few ways of how to tell if your workforce needs motivation and ways to help them get motivated and this can be learned by many workforce motivational speakers.

How are the employees recognized for their accomplishments? That is one way to tell if they are motivated or not. If they are working hard and giving the job their all and they are not recognized for their work, that will cause them to lose motivation fast. There needs to be a system in place that awards and recognizes employees for the hard work and dedication to their job.

In order to motivate them, motivational speakers should set goals for them and when they accomplish them, the employees should receive an award or some sort of recognition so they know that people care about the work that they contribute. This can be done by using such methods as giving out awards for Employee of the Month or by physically giving them a round of applause for a job well done.

Also, make sure that the employees know what is ahead of them when it comes to a future career path. Hopefully, they work at a business that promotes from within and that allows for growth within the company. This will give them something to work for.

If it is just a dead end job, then they will feel like their contributions are not important because they will probably quit in a few months to advance at a different job. If they feel as though they have a chance to move up on the corporate ladder, they will be motivated to work harder. Motivational speakers would point this out if brought to any company to present and they would inspire the workers to move up on the ladder.

Companies should also make sure that the work environment is a positive one. Many people spend a third of their lives at work so it ends up being sort of a home away from home. Employees need a place that is refreshing and clean.

They should be comfortable at their job. The chairs should be comfortable so that they do not mind sitting all day and working hard. They should want to work their hardest in the environment that they are in because they are in it for eight hours a day usually.

There are many things that employers can do to make sure that their employees are satisfied with their jobs and are motivated to work hard without having to give out money to do so. Employees are generally happy and excited when they start new jobs and after that it is up to the managers to make sure that they stay happy and want to keep working harder for the company. And hiring a motivational speaker for this would be ideal so the managers get some insight and the employees as well.
